There's no single right answer — it depends on your sales platform, the bank you use and how much you prioritize privacy. Use the state quiz or the cost calculator to compare quickly.
What is an annual report, and what if I don't file it?+
It's a periodic report (usually yearly) that keeps your LLC in good standing. If you miss the deadline the state can administratively dissolve your LLC — you lose your legal entity status even though you're still doing business.
